We have added a new designer to our company, our daughter Sarah.  She has an educational background in Art and Music and it is really apparent in her designs; from the wonderful color choices, to the rhythm and flow of her designs.  Remember to check out our woolfelts page.

#088 "Let there be Light"

Wow! What a sky to light up the day with. The inspiration for this wallhanging came from Genesis. "Let there be Light" shows the sources the earth has for light which is the sun and the moon and the way the two light up the world! It is awsome with the 2-colored felt sky in the background appropriately named "American Spirit". Easy to follow pattern, using a blanket stitch and Perle Cotton .

#090 "When light turns into Darkness"

Another inspiration from Genesis using the sun and moon! This is absolutely gorgeous! The designer, Sarah Wilson, was truely inpired by the Bible and the colors she chose are incredible. A simple design with easy to follow instructions. She used perle cotton and the blanket stitch.

#082 "Celestial Dream"
(32"x28")

First in a series from Sarah Wilson inspired by the ever popular Suns, Moons, and Stars design.  This large wallhanging is a very simple pattern to follow and the beginning of a collection! 

Sarah hand-appliqued with woolfelts and Perle Potton, but this can also be done by machine. She incorporated the blanket stitch and just a small whipstitch.

1 yard Reets Relish (background) 
1/4 yard Old Gold (moon)

#083 "Night and Day"

Oh my gosh! Where do we start with this one!

The focal point of course is the Sun and Moon, but the details that surround them are incredible. The second in this series it is a large but simple pattern that was hand-appliqued using woolfelts and Perle Cotton, incorporating the blanket stitch,  French knot, and whipstitch (can be machine appliqued). 

What a wonderful piece of art!

Wow! What flow this wallhanging has. 

It's wonderful! Again although it is a large pattern, it's simple to follow and sew.  Woolfelts were used for the appliques and Perle Cotton to hand-applique them on, incorporating the blanket stitch and whipstitch (can be machine appliqued)

One guess as to why Sarah named this "Happy Sun" !!! The name says it all. 

He's happy to let the sunshine through the clouds. He is totally done in prefelted Woolfelts and sewn in Perle Cotton. 

We back all of our wallhanging with homespun fabric or whatever we have on hand.

Now is the time to show you patriotism and we have a wallhanging that says it best, "Let Freedom Shine".  Sarah has created a beautiful patriotic wallhanging incorporating her ever popular sun designs. She use pre-felted Woolfelts and Perle Cotton and blanket stitched the stripes on and use a small whipstitch for stars. It truely is a work of art.

(22"x22")

Beautiful Moon! It's gorgeous and a fun project.

We have used quite a few colors of nonwoven woolfelts to create such beautiful moonbeams.  Cut 2 or 3of each color for the beams.  We also used DMC perle cotton and blanket stitching. 

There are directions to follow to make the beams stand out on their own, and suggestions on how to hang it.
