A wonderful selection of sweatshirts appliqued with nonwoven Woolfelt.  Easy to read quality applique patterns.  We carry the quality sweatshirts that we use in all of our designs.  They are heavyweight, and ohhh sooo soft inside with a contrasting hue.  In order to save you time our felts are pre-felted so they come ready to use.

#081 "Bouquet"

Spring is in the air! This gorgeous group of flowers are not only beautiful but a very simple applique to do. We had alot of fun with this one from adding in all the pink Vincas to putting on smiley faces on the large flowers.

Our first spring pattern for 2003 "Springtime" and with these beautiful new colors of nonwoven woolfelt that's exactly what it makes you feel like, SPRING!

#072 "Tapestry"

I just love these flowers; they remind me of a tapestry I have. We used several different colors of nonwoven woolfelts and turned the moss green sweatshirt inside out because of the soft fleece inside of the shirt, cut off the bottom ribbing creating a hem.  We use DMC perle cotton and the good old fashioned blanket stitch.  We also used different sized leaves and created a 3-D effect with the smaller ones.

Materials needed:

#062 "Pockets Full of Posies"

This is a great pattern for children and adults! We used two Sweatshirt to make the outfit and< included small jean pockets on front and back, and filled them full of 3-dimensional flowers appliqued with nonwoven woolfelt.

It's a very sporty outfit that was inspired by our grand daughter. Blanket stitching was used with perle cotton

#059 Snow Days

This a great snowman and snowflake appliqued sweatshirt. By cutting off the ribbing along the bottom and turning up the hem, it not only gives you a great contrast in colors, but is more comfortable to wear without any binding of the ribbing. We used woolfelts that have been felted to give that wonderful " woolly look", which really goes hand in hand with the blanket and whipstitching with perle cotton that really makes the design stand out . By using perle cotton we a  have even created the wind. Like all of our jackets, this is totally hand-sewn.

Materials needed:

Sweatshirt

Woolfelt
1/2 yard Straw
1/4 yard Barnyard Red
Scraps of Denim
Scraps of Copper
Scraps of Black

Embroidery needle #11 or #16
