The book contains 3 handbags, 3 coin purses and 3 eyeglass case patterns.  The color photos are throughout the book.  This spiral bound book features pattern pages that fold out flat so it is easy to use.

The "Vintage Look" handbags were inspired by the trip I took to Italy this past April.  The beauty of the flowers in spring along with the roadsides were very similar to the colors of woolfelts that I have fallen in love with in the past 3 years, not to mention the inspiration of the two mothers in my life, my mom and my Zia Maria (aunt) who lives in Foggia, Italy.

My mom helped with the color combinations and my Zia encourages me with her own creativity!  We sat in her kitchen together and worked side by side, me with the hand applique' and Zia with her plastic canvas for her cross stitch.  The language barrier doesn't bother us!

Although, I am giving you the patterns and my color choices in this book, I still want to encourage you to use your own creativity, the the colors you choose even in the placement of the appliqués', but, if you like the way I have laid it out then use the photos as your guide.  All 3 handbags are lined in beautiful vintage fabric to coordinate with the woolfelts.

3/4 yd. robin's egg woolfelt
1/2yd. plum woolfelt
1/3 yd. english rose woolfelt
1/4 yd. cypress green woolfelt
Scraps of woolfelt : white barnyard red
  cotton candy
